I would say this is impossible to believe — those women must have screamed— but I’ve heard so many doctors and nurses make the exact same claim about infants. “I’m not hurting him,” they said as they drew blood and my baby screamed. Of course they were hurting him. Many baby boys are subjected to the horrors of circumcision even now with no pain relief. We are told they can’t feel it — even as they scream or go into shock.
We ALL feel pain!
