I won’t pay for a housekeeper, and wouldn’t even if I could afford it. It means pushing one’s own chores onto some other woman. I also won’t pay anyone to mow my yard, paint a room, seal my deck or wash my car, so it’s certainly not just a matter of refusing to pay for traditional women’s work. Somebody will have to scrub that toilet. I think it should be someone who uses that toilet, not some other woman. Men need to do their part.
