I welcomed my son home and it was the best thing ever. He paid off his student loans and car, saved up an emergency fund and enough to furnish he place nicely. It gave him a boost. He’s far better off now (living alone for four years) than if he wee chipping away at his debt with the small amount left after paying his living expenses.
