I was watching Oppenheimer (finally!) last night and it struck me -- people are always in trouble for their leftward leanings. When do you ever see a bunch of people in power making strong accusations about someone's rightward leanings? Just once, I'd like to see someone in the hot seat say something like, "Well, senator, it's interesting that you think I'm too far left. I've long considered you to be too far-right. In fact, you seem to be downright authoritarian!"
