I was an underweight child. I didn't have major issues with my weight until I had my daughter at 23. I gained SO much weight during that pregnancy. My doctor told me to stop eating fast food but as I told him, I couldn't afford fast food. I was eating only my own home-cooked meals made from scratch. He questioned what I had eaten that day and confessed he was perplexed. He probably thought I was lying.
I don't like to eat a lot of meat -- I'm married to a vegetarian and prefer eating that way most of the time, so it's a struggle. I've cut all added sugar and avoid refined carbs. I eat only lunch and an early dinner with no snacks. We eat lots of veggies, beans, lentils.
I am so f'ing hungry all the time! And I'm not losing weight.
