I want these shoes, but like your husband, I believe shoes should not cost more than $20. Plus, I did buy a (much cheaper) pair of Sketchers a couple years ago, and the sole is worn down to the point that anyone else would have thrown them out — it actually affects my gait. But I don’t want to go shoe shopping because I know the prices will give me a heart attack and I’ll be annoyed I don’t have the shoes I really want — the slip-ins. I walk my dogs twice a day and that’s four on-and-offs right there, and my dogs are milling around all excited and not wanting to cooperate with the harnesses and leashes … Ugh! I want cheap slip-in shoes!
