I vote with my feet as much as anybody can, but there is not a fair playing field and I have little power.

I resisted purchasing from Amazon for a long time -- until Amazon managed to make it nearly impossible to make some purchases elsewhere. I would much prefer to purchase books from a local, independent bookstore. Break up the big bastards and I'll happily buy from the little guys again.

Don't blame powerless people like me for a SYSTEM that is set up to benefit the few. BLAME THE SYSTEM, NOT THE INDIVIDUALS.
