I took my first husband’s last name but when things went bad, I rid myself of that name immediately. I “knew” I’d never remarry so I resumed my maiden name. Then I jumped at the chance to change my name when I did remarry. So far as I can tell, there are only two people with the last name of Teheux in the US. It makes my very easy to find online. My husband’s family is Dutch-Belgian.
