I thought I’d get halfway-decent-paying jobs eventually, but I never did. I always made shit wages, even when I had tons of responsibilities. I was never able to figure out how to land a good job. At 57, I’m STILL hanging up my laundry, cooking beans and shopping at thrift stores!
