I thought about this before deciding Gen X has experienced the most. My point is the changes in how technology has shaped life. It took about 50 years for telephones to become common in homes, and even when they did, they did not revolutionized daily lives to the extent computers/internet has now. Also, the telephone takes about 1 minute to learn. There isn't much to it. Same for radio, and TV. When these technologies came around and were slowly adopted, they didn't change how you had to live your daily life, and you didn't feel as if you could not work without special knowledge. I would be shocked to learn your grandmother was unable to make a good living without extensive knowledge of computers.

I thought about people who experienced all kinds of changes in their lifetimes, and I still think Gen X wins ... but that's just my opinion. I shall continue whining that it isn't fair. :)

Thanks for reading.
