I think there's room to debate the proper age for actual surgery, but I sure as hell knew my own mind as a teen. At some point we need to respect a teen's ability to make their own decisions for their own body.

Let me ask you this. How do you feel about removing baby boys' foreskins? Circumcision makes it impossible for the male to ever reach his full sexual potential. It's routinely done to boys without their consent. I certainly hope you are vocally against this barbaric and harmful practice. It's odd to me that so many people who are completely fine with removing a very important part of the male body as a newborn are not OK with letting that same person choose what happens to his body as a teen.
