I spent a lot of time and passion writing two series of genre novels. I spent money I didn’t have paying Zuck and Bezos to promote them. I maintained FB and IG for my pen name. I did everything! Sales pretty much covered my ads. Then I switched to writing here instead. I actually make a little money here. I stopped advertising my books ages ago. They’re still making me about $50 per month. I’m doing NOTHING. I need to finish the one I stopped writing almost a year ago. I think now I’ll write a genre novel a year but do essentially no marketing.
