I see you and feel you. The viciousness is so undeserved! Why can’t people who want to leave a marriage do so without vilifying their ex? I have some theories. I think if you can’t cite something obvious, like an affair, you have to convince yourself that your partner is awful. Anything to be able to justify leaving without admitting you just want to leave this person who has done nothing to you. Nobody wants to be the bad guy.
