I plan to write something, too. I have VERY mixed feelings about all this -- I want kids to be nurtured and I want women to be OK. We seem to have set up a society that doesn't accomplish either. It's a huge risk to stay home with your kids. It doesn't have to be, though. I will never understand why we cannot set things up in a way that works for all parties -- both parents and all the kids.
