I once heard a story about a combination baby/wedding shower. I thought it was really tacky. However, when I think about it ... most of us no longer think people should wait for marriage to have sex. So we need to welcome babies whenever people decide to have them. Good for you for keeping your thoughts to yourself. I'd have been having the same thoughts, but maybe we need to accept that things are different now.

Still, though, I wonder what they were thinking with that cake!
