I married my husband, a European, fully understanding he would be coming to this country without a lot of money and unable to work until he got a permit. No regrets. We married for love, not money. He now makes more than me, but neither of us has ever made a lot. I think it’s disgusting to care so much about money. If you won’t consider marrying someone who doesn’t earn a certain amount, don’t come crying to me when your marriage isn’t happy.
