I loved being a SAHM and I believe it’s best for children to have a parent home for several years … but it’s a dangerous way to live because if your marriage ends, you may well find your career is strangled. Worse, if the court orders 50 percent custody, you may not receive any child support. Single motherhood by choice may be the best option going forward.
