I know lots of Medium writers, including some of the best and most popular ones on the platform. Including some of the most loyal cheerleaders. All agree that pay for recent pieces has dropped dramatically. I see these people showing up on Substack and doing extremely well there. And yet I keep visiting Medium daily, looking for signs that things might have been fixed. You can’t imagine how badly I want Medium to pull through! Don’t gaslight us.
