I knew a journalist who switched to library science. She's working for a major corporation and making bank. She got her master's from U of I, attending mostly remotely. It wasn't cheap, and the cost scared me. What if I ended up making minimum wage as a children's librarian or something? Turns out I STILL would have been better off!
