I kept a list of weird words for probably a month, adding them to my Notes app one by one as I ran into another good one in the wild. When I realized I had 10 of them, it almost wrote itself. So it took a month of prep and then less than an hour of writing. Keep a notebook of ideas and the back of your brain will work on stuff while you’re sleeping, washing dishes or walking your dogs. :)
