I keep reading this claim that women thrive after divorce… I’m trying in vain to think of any women in my circle who were not devastated by their divorce. Nothing I’ve gone through has been more difficult. I never recovered financially. Even happily remarried, I look back at those years following my divorce with absolute horror.
