I hope in the future every culture learns to stop cutting both boys and girls. Every child deserves to have his or her sexual birthright. My intact adult son says we should be calling circumcision Male Genital Mutilation, just as we call female cutting Female Genital Mutilation. I get where he's coming from and how passionately he believes people must stop removing baby boys' most sensitive part before they can consent, but I don't want to anger people who might otherwise be open to this message.
