I have written two series in a certain genre. The sales are so-so. But I am putting the finishing touches on the best book I've ever written, which doesn't fit into any particular genre. I have very high hopes for it. It would be ironic if I wrote a serious book that outsold my genre books. But yes, I'm taking a short break from genre writing to try my hand at Medium. I'll write anything -- SEO, blogs, how-to guides -- literally anything anybody will pay me to write.
