I had someone hint that a story might be Boost-worthy if I paid their coaching fee to fix it. I didn’t pay. The story ran but the editor didn’t nominate it. Said it was good enough to publish but not good enough to Boost. That’s subjective, of course. But I note that when I see which of my stories are doing best, this one is clustered near the Boosted ones. Dunno.
