I explicitly said not everyone should have kids. I’m just shouting in this sea of anti-maternity that many of us found all the challenges worth it. Motherhood is by far the most richly rewarding part of my life. Even now, my relationships with my grown kids are deeply meaningful and loving. I cannot imagine life without them. Have or don’t have kids, but know that not everyone agrees that it’s a terrible experience.
