I don’t, honestly. I have good months but I also have lean months. I’m doing better all the time, but there are months I’d be in trouble if I had to depend on freelance. I am lucky to have health insurance through my husband’s job. If anything happened to him, I’d have to get a FT job for the insurance. We live in an inexpensive house that’s a year from being paid off, the kids are grown and our cars are old and long since paid off. My best advice is to buy a house for under $100K so you’ll have some breathing room. I could make a lot more money if I were willing to sell ebooks and courses telling you how to make money writing, of course!
