I don't care if stats show that some men are shitty -- I would still advise women to avoid those shitty men and marry somebody with good character.

I am not interested in a marriage of convenience. Others can feel free to marry for money if that's what's important to them. There are a lot of ways to make money in this world that I'm not interested in.

Anyway, our 17th wedding anniversary is Monday, and we have the deep bond that comes from knowing we chose each other for reasons of love and respect.
