I disagree. Tim is selling himself and self-helpy copy, not writing thoughtful, high-quality pieces. That's fine, but you can't compare his posts with some of the really fine writing one can find on this platform. They are two different things. Do you define "success" as having lots of followers or as producing fine writing?
