I could have continued banging my head against the wall with no results and maybe someone would have eventually hired me, but then I looked around at the other women my age and saw how many were unemployed or underemployed. Proper job hunting is quite time consuming. I had no more time to waste on the pipe dream of getting hired. I needed to earn some money, so I’m doing it on my own.
