I bought my first N95s a year BEFORE the pandemic. (I posted a story on Medium about it a couple of years ago.) I knew we were overdue for a pandemic and thought the last thing I'd want to do if it happened was fight crowds at CVS, so I bought a whole box. I sheepishly told my family I knew I was being silly, but hey, just in case. Boy, I have never felt like such a prophet!

Recently, I bought more. But NOBODY here in central Illinois is wearing them now.
