I am so fucking sick of everyone insisting divorce is wonderful! It was the most traumatic thing I’d ever gone through. And yes, even though I’ve now been happily married to a good guy for 18 years, I still don’t have any good feelings about the end of my first marriage. I feel lucky to have survived that difficult time.
