I am not going to publish anything else on Medium unless/until they fix their issues. It saddens me that this platform has utterly refused to tell us what’s going on. It feels like they’re actively hostile to their writers! A long line of popular writers have left and Medium seems not to care.

I’m still earning well here because of old stories paying out at the old rate. But my newer bits pay at an insultingly low rate. Does Medium believe people will keep paying to access reams of amateur hobby writing?

Anyway, I reached the same conclusion. I have gone all in on Substack, where I publish Untrickled, about income inequality, and where it’s relatively easy to make a thousand bucks per month without needing to beg for Boosts from curators who ignore quality work.
