I am not a vet, etc. (Insert all usual disclaimers here). We had a tube of .05 prescription-strength Clobestasol Propionate cream for my husband. We used it very sparingly on Mr. Joe. It was like magic -- his raw chest was barely red the next day. (I read on one site not to use too much as it's absorbed into the body. Mr. Joe is a small dog and I didn't want to give him too high a dose so we were conservative in applying it.)
