I also wonder about the oft-quoted claim that women initiate most divorces. I’m the one who actually filed, but only after he moved out. And, weirdly, he told me to! I am unsure/don’t remember the details, but it was to his benefit in some way. If I could go back in time, I’d have told him, “Buddy, you’re the one who wanted this divorce, so you go ahead.” But that was then and I was broken by what happened.
