I agree with you.

I'd always heard people say things like, "We'd been growing apart for a long time" and "it takes two to make or break a marriage" or "there are always signs."

I did NOT see it coming and even now, I don't see that there were big signs. I was married to him for 15 years, we had two kids, and everything seemed to be going very well. Until things flipped overnight.

Like you, I'm now married to someone amazing. I've now been married to my good husband for 16 years. I'm grateful to be married to someone who is so good and kind and sweet. I do not take him for granted. I know how rare a marriage like mine is.
