How is it “just a little harder to pay the bills?”

…ferent from a lot of other people around this part of the world, because I don’t fear unemployment. I’ve been unemployed at various times throughout my life, and really it’s not that bad. The world keeps turning. It’s just a little harder to pay the bills. What really annoys me though is the fact that I am probably unemployable at this time.

How is it “just a little harder to pay the bills?” If there’s no money it’s IMPOSSIBLE to pay it be bills. 
I’m also unemployable. I’ve applied and applied. It’s not happening. I write FT for this reason.
