Here’s what I’ve been making lately: sauté cooked lentils, onion and LOTS of garlic in olive oil. Then continue on with your usual spaghetti recipe. The lentils replace the ground beef or whatever. You can add jarred sauce or your own and serve over pasta. It’s a hit with my vegetarian husband and a friend I served it to seemed to like it.
