Here’s the problem with your theory.
I don’t eat that crap and have never eaten it regularly. I bake sourdough bread. I make vegetable soup. Beans over brown rice with a side of roasted cruciferous vegetables are a staple at my house. I can’t remember the last time I ate ramen noodles or a frozen pizza, etc. We seldom eat out.
Where’s my metabolic health, then? My experience suggests eating a healthy diet doesn’t actually do much for you. It does cost less and taste better. I’ve got that going for me, I guess.
