Having spent a fair amount of time in the Netherlands not as a tourist but part of a family, I see…

… years without needing a financial bailout from their neighbors. Italy, Britain, Spain, France, and even the Dutch, all had their moments in the sun where they were the lords of all creation. Now they’re like a quaint village you visit in order to feel nostalgic about history. A faint reminder of past greatness.
