Growing up in a town of 200, I was under the impression there were only two kinds of music, country and Top 40. I settled for the Top 40. Then, much later, I discovered punk. I have never really known anybody else who really likes punk, so it's been a solitary journey for me. But I did teach my kids to love the Ramones.
