For every woman posting a gleeful piece about how empowering her divorce was, many more of us just felt exhausted and full of grief.
You need a shoulder to lean on once in a while. Family? A good friend? Even paid household help sometimes? (I couldn’t afford that, but I can see how it would buy some free time.)
