Can I gently suggest you missed my entire point?

It's utterly ridiculous to say bills should not be more than 60 percent of one person's income. That's an impossible thing for most people to achieve. I don't think I have EVER achieved that!

I know all about budgeting. I perfectly understand the difference between wants and needs -- in fact, quite a few things other people believe to be needs are classified as wants by me.

Again: Most Americans do not earn enough to be able to follow your advice. If you do, I am happy for you. But I do not.
