Bullshit. Making good choices AND luck are involved. Survivor bias is at work here. All the people who were fucking up their lives with poor decisions but then fixed things and did better think everyone is the same. I’m here to witness that you can be someone who never had a fuck-up stage and has always worked hard and made the best choices possible can still end up poor. You just don’t hear this story often, because most people feed bad about admitting they are poor or poor-adjacent.
