Best thing we did was welcome my son back for a few years. Everything he made went to debt and basic expenses, and he couldn’t get ahead. By living at home, he was able to pay off his student debt and car. He saved up an emergency fund and enough for furniture. He moved out in great financial shape. He’s doing better than any of us now.
