Baby showers ABSOLUTELY. But I do think those are a bit problematic in that you don’t need much stuff. My list, knowing what I know now, would be baby gowns, socks, a few blankets, a side-sleeper, a huge pile of cloth diapers, a car seat and a sling. Nothing else!
