Actually, no. That's completely nonfactual. Turns out it's really hard to make a profit when you pay a staff to create content that you then give away for free. Who knew that wouldn't work? A lot of people don't understand that clicks do not support a newsroom. Never have, never will. And we did not push online subscriptions until it was far too late.
